Community Guidelines

Effective date: November 4, 2026 · Den Digital LLC

My Gym Tracker is a free app and a community of people who train. The community parts — the forum on this website, shared workout cards, questions and answers — only work if they are a good place to be. These six principles are the whole rulebook. They apply to everything you post, including your username and profile.

1. Be decent to each other

Encourage, answer, disagree politely. No harassment, insults, threats, hate, or attacks on anyone for their body, ability, gender, age, race, religion, orientation, or anything else. If you would not say it to someone across a squat rack, do not post it.

2. Keep it fit for anyone's phone

People read this at work, on the bus, with kids around. Progress photos are welcome in ordinary gym or swimwear; no nudity, nothing sexualised, nothing shot to show off a body part rather than progress. No pornography, gore, or shock content anywhere.

3. Watch the language

Keep posts, titles and usernames clean enough for a grandparent to read aloud. Any profanity filter we run is a backstop, not a target.

4. Protect each other's health

Do not promote extreme dieting, fasting past what a doctor would advise, purging, cutting to unsafe weights, steroid or drug use, or training through injury. If someone posts in distress or describes disordered eating, be kind, do not pile on, and point them to help: in the US, the National Eating Disorders Association helpline; elsewhere, your local health service. We remove content that endangers people, even when it is well meant.

5. Be real, be yourself

One account per person. No impersonation, no selling, no affiliate spam, no bots, no mass-posting. Share your own results and your own words. Trainers and brands may take part openly under their own name but may not advertise.

6. Keep private things private

Do not post other people's names, photos, locations, messages or workouts without their consent. Workout cards can carry a map of your run: share them knowingly.

How this is enforced

Status, November 2026: there is no public forum or posting surface yet. Today the community is the people who write to us and the answers we publish. When a posting surface opens, it will open with these controls in place, not after: every post and profile can be reported, any user can be blocked, we read every report and act on clear breaches within 24 hours by removing the content and, for abuse, suspending or removing the account, and new accounts start with limits (no links or images, few posts a day) that lift with time and good standing. To reach us about anything here: [email protected].

Thank you for keeping this a healthy place. The point is to help each other show up again tomorrow.
